As we enter into the Summer, Memorial Day has always been a special holiday for many.
Its a time for remembering those who spent many hours , days and years of their lives to fight for our country. Its a time for many to begin the summer holiday season, beaches etc.
This year, we have suffered the great worldwide Pandemic “Covid-19” which has touched many of us in one or in most peoples lives MANY ways.
Having worked in the Hospitality industry in Bars, it has put a huge damper on the industry, and how we travel .
I was fortunate enough to get the chance to head over to Tucson Arizona this weekend to work on some Photography around the Suguaro National Park and stayed at the Ritz Carlton - Dove Mountain location.
The Grounds are exquisite ! If you enjoy a more desert appeal, I am sure you will enjoy this resort, which is tucked away in the Sonoran Desert.
From the moment you enter the hotel ground, you know you are going to be well cared for during your stay. Valet directing you to the perfect spot to securely get unloaded and begin your stay.
The check in Process was VERY smooth offering options for our first nights stay in the resort.
WIth the current Covid-19 holding much precedence in how businesses operate now, MANY precautions were being taken to ensure distancing was taking place and service was done to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort levels were being accommodated.
Our Rooms were beautifully furnished, offering a spectacular tub for soaking, glass walled shower and commode, two sinks and plenty of mirrors to ensure you look your best. If you enjoy winding down with the TV, you are offered many options to choose from to include streaming options like Netflix, YouTube! Several AV connections were also provided into the TV.
The Dining experience, while not what it would normally be at this location, was nothing short of great as we were still able to enjoy our small party of 4 for a reunion and celebration.
The cocktails were mixed to perfection, our meals were delivered and presented well. More on Dining while at the resort can be found at their website.
On my Second day at the resort, I had planned initially to enjoy their spa while my friends enjoy the Golf Course, however COVID-19 restrictions made this impossible. I was able to use this time to capture beautiful images of the grounds which can be viewed below. Many Beautifully blooming cactus, the Desert Tortoise which lives on the grounds, and various shots of the hotel to give you a little feel for what it is like to visit this Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain location. Even though I couldn’t sample the Spa while here, you can find a list of their services here as you plan your stay !
While many are still fearful of traveling and going out at this time, My business is in bringing my followers an experience and update on what is happening out there. Arizona is opening up and not seeing any repercussions as a result, and I feel the rest of the US is going to see this as a stepping stone and leading path to where we can go moving forward.
